Your help is needed this year to bring a smile to a child’s face.  Can we count on you? 

 

Project Holiday Joy is The Nurturing Center’s program to provide Christmas gifts for needy families that receive our services.  Participants are allowed to ask for three gifts for each child and one small gift for themselves.  Caring people in the community then “adopt” a family and provide those gifts. 

 

Last year we had a tremendous response and are hoping for the same this year! The community’s generosity last year: 
  • Helped provide 157 children (56 families) with a happier Christmas, children who might not have had even one gift to open on Christmas morning 
  • Provided a festive, nourishing Christmas dinner for 47 families
  • Touched parents who were not able to provide Christmas for their children 
  •  Made the difference in the life of a child
